I The main goal of our project is to address the critical problems and needs of Warsaw. One of the relevant topics concerning Warsaw is the ergonomic and optimal area usage. The crucial impact on this problem has the using of extraordinary spaces such as roofs, empty walls, places under bridges etc. The chosen localization is The Palace of Culture and Knowledge (PKiN) with the Parade Square, which are located right in the heart of Warsaw. Paradoxically, this area is totally undeveloped and lifeless. As architects, we want to redefine the insipid character of this space to the vibrant one. We want to give the PKiN back to people. Our competition’s project strives for convince the people, that they should not fear of this space, beacuse it hides very big potential that should be emphasized.
